The Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) will bring residents in the east and along the North-South Corridor closer to a train station and hence giving them faster access to the city. It is Singapore’s sixth MRT line, with a total of 32 new stations, including eight interchange stations. Originally slated to be completed by 2024, the TEL will span 43km and serve about 500,000 commuters daily in its initial years.

Stage one of three stations Woodlands North, Woodlands, Woodlands South have been opened sinc January 2020. Stage two of Thomson-East Coast Line was set to be completed by 2021, which will link up Woodlands to Caldecott via Mayflower. Stage three which get direct access to the CBD and Marina Bay is expected to be completed by 2021 too.  There are seven stations in the central area, including Stevens, Napier, Orchard Boulevard, Orchard, Great World, Maxwell, Shenton Way and Marina Bay.

With the improved connectivity upon the completion of CTL, future residents of Haus On Handy can expect the great convenience to travel the whole Island.
